Jersey Calling Debut New Video For “The Things Life Leaves Behind”
Jersey Calling debuted their new video for the song “The Things Life Leaves Behind” on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
Jersey Calling is MMR’s Local Shots Artist of the Month for February 2024. The local punk band continues to refine their songwriting skills. Nowhere is that best displayed than on their latest album, Parasocial.Security.
After opening the 2023 Adjacent Festival in Atlantic City, NJ with headliners Blink-182 and Paramore, and independently grossing thousands of dollars in merchandise sales on a northeast US tour, they are ready to level up and partner with the best the industry has to offer.
This new video is just another example of the forward momentum this band has. “The Things Life Leaves Behind” is the third track from the band’s fourth album.

Jersey Calling is on tour this year! Look for a date near you. You gotta see this band and let them rock your socks off.
The band continues to offer all the Pop-Punk hallmarks that helped build their fanbase: catchy riffs accompanied by driving bass lines and backbeats, singers whose voices resemble punk giants of the 1990s, and a passion to deliver anthem after anthem during their energetic live performances.

Meet Philadelphia's Own Jersey Calling
Meet Philadelphia’s own Jersey Calling, MMR’s Local Shots Artist of the Month.
Jersey Calling was formed in 2002 by core members Randy Ballinger, Josh Kates, and Sean Breslin. After building a loyal cult following playing church basements, VFW Halls, and legendary punk clubs like CBGB, the band took a hiatus in 2005.
In 2020, Jersey Calling regrouped with co-lead singer Victoria Maffei-Kates for their third album Punk Rock Retirement. The album proved that even after years away from the scene, the band continues to offer all the Pop-Punk hallmarks that helped build their fanbase: catchy riffs accompanied by driving bass lines and backbeats, singers whose voices resemble punk giants of the 1990s, and a passion to deliver anthem after anthem during their energetic live
performances.
The band doesn’t rest on their laurels either. They continue to refine their songwriting skills as displayed on their latest album, Parasocial Security.
