Support Local Heroes at Montco’s Hero Fest
Hey Montco: join Brent Porche at Hero Fest! The event benefits the Montgomery County Hero Fund, which is set up to assist the county’s first responders in their times of need.
The fund assists our local heroes when disaster or emergencies strike them. Police, fire fighters, EMS, military, and nurses are all supported by the fund.
Mark your calendar for Saturday September 28th (rain date: Sunday September 29th) for a full day of festivities hosted by Brent from WMMR. It’ll kick off with a 5K Run/Walk at 8:30am, with live music starting at 1pm and rocking into the evening. Plus, pull up for the Truck/Jeep Show from noon to 4pm.
Bands we’ll hear live that day include SideArm, Parker Barrow, and American Vinyl All-Star Band. Featured acoustic acts will be Calico Sparx, Ava Difiore, Camille K and Kevin Bentley.
Tickets are $40 each, and include access to all of the above, plus yard games, food included with purchase, beverages, BBQ tastings and more.
All of this is happening at the Lower Providence Fire Company: 3199 Ridge Pike in Eagleville, PA. More info, plus registration for the car show portion of the festival, can be found at this location. We’ll see you there!
