Deftones are one of my favorite bands, so I was stoked to talk with Chino Moreno ahead of their show at the Festival Pier in a couple weeks. We covered the new record Gore, how certain music reminds you of specific points in your life, balancing ambient and heavy sounds, collaborating with Jerry Cantrell on “Phantom Bride” and Anthony Green on “Right Outside”… Plus, he discussed whether or not we’ll ever hear the unreleased Deftones album Eros.
Can’t wait for the show on Saturday August 6th – grab tickets here, and stream the chat below! –Jaxon
