Legendary British Multi-Instrumentalist IAN McDONALD (King Crimson, T.Rex, Foreigner) called into JACKY BAM BAM’s show on 93.3 WMMR to chat about his new band HONEY WEST!! “Bad Old World” is the new album. Written with Ted Zurkowski, it’s truly a perfect debut, with a mix of Prog and straight ahead Rock & Roll!! The band will make their Philadelphia debut at Havana’s in New Hope PA on 7/15/15, hosted By Jacky Bam Bam. Ian told Jacky about opening for The Rolling Stones twice: first with King Crimson at The Historic 1969 Tribute Show to Brian Jones at London’s Hyde Park, and again in 1978 In Philadelphia with Foreigner and Peter Tosh at JFK Stadium!! We also discuss what it was like playing on T.Rex’s Electric Warrior album, playing sax on Bang a Gong (Get It On) with producer Tony Visconti!!
