My adopted other brothers, Chris and Rich Robinson have contributed greatly to the soundtrack of my life.
I even hosted one of their shows a bit ago in Atlantic City! I got some quality time with both brothers backstage. It was fantastic.
When he mentioned playing The Spectrum with Aerosmith on their 1990 Pump Tour, Chris made me smile.
They are on my rock n’ roll Mount Rushmore, so I am excited to share some of my favorite memories with you all. My fandom runs deep.
The Black Crowes Return
Since The Black Crowes reunited in 2019, they’ve made a triumphant return to their best selves. They had over 150 shows spanning 20 countries worldwide.
They also celebrated the 30th anniversary of Shake Your Money Maker, the album that put them on the map.
Happiness Bastards is the tenth studio album by American rock band the Black Crowes, released on March 15, 2024, through Silver Arrow Records. The album was produced by Jay Joyce. It will be the band’s first album since their 2019 reformation. It’s the first album of new material since 2009’s Before the Frost…Until the Freeze.
The album was preceded by the single “Wanting and Waiting”, released on January 12, 2024. I debuted the song on WMMR.
Their reuniting meant more to me than you could ever know. Now they are as active as ever, releasing new music and touring in full swing. I love to see it as a huge fan of the group.

Backstage With The Band
Always great catching up with The Crowes and Chris’s Jamaican Dog Bammy Long Face!! They are amazing people to be around and chat with! Being able to form a connection with the band themselves has been a dream. I can’t wait to catch up with them again soon.
On Stage
What an honor to host the show and be on stage next to that Wurlitzer Juke Box! And plug in Elmore James Shake Your Money Maker & talk about The Big “O” Otis Redding and Little Richard! So beautiful! Can’t wait to do it again! This is Rock and ROLL!!
