The Rolling Stones will return to Philadelphia next summer, and everyone at WMMR couldn’t be more excited to welcome them back to the Linc. Pierre Robert and Jacky Bam Bam are some of their absolute biggest fans in this city, so when it came time for You-Call-It Friday Night in the middle of our 13 Days of the Stones, we knew we had to pull out all the stops.
The trouble was, Bam Bam – who’s usually on air every weeknight – was on vacation that week. (How dare Mick not check in with our schedule before announcing a tour!) With the promise of hot coffee and the freedom to take as many Stones song requests as possible, we called upon Pierre – who’s usually at the helm from 10:30am to 3pm – to come back into the studio at 7pm on Friday. He, along with Sara, played over two hours of the Rolling Stones, and they were ALL based on YOUR favorites.
