Tickets for MMRBQ are on sale now via Ticketmaster. To get ready for the show on September 16, 2023, you need to get to know the MMRBQ 2023 bands.

MMRBQ is 93.3 WMMR’s annual celebration of the summer concert season. WMMR.com has all you need to know about the show itself, including, dates, times, side stages, and all that jazz. But do you know all the bands?

If not, lets study up! The show has a stellar lineup of 8 bands that will rock your socks off.

These bands are regulars on WMMR. We’re sure you’ve heard a song or two from each. We have a lineup of newbies and repeat rockers. So in case you need a refresher…

Get to know the MMRBQ 2023 bands:

• Vixen77

  Vixen77 is one of MMR’s Local Shots Artists of the Month. They’re a Philadelphia-based rock group. Their style is pretty akin to the first wave of punk mixed with hard-driving rock.  They’re a badass girl band that will rock your socks off.

• Tigercub

  Tigercub are a three-piece rock band from the UK. Their newest album, “The Perfume of Decay,” will be released 2nd June 2023.

• Finger Eleven

  This is an MMRBQ alum that we’re so excited to have back. You know them from their hits “Paralyzer” and “One Thing.” They’ve been teasing some new music coming our way soon…so stay tuned.

• Dirty Honey

  Dirty Honey is a huge friend of the station. In fact, our very own Jacky Bam Bam got up on stage with them last time they were at MMRBQ. Let’s hope Jacky’s antics are at bay, this time…(NOT)!

• Ayron Jones

  Ayron Jones was just in town last year and he’s back! Just like us, he can’t get enough of this city. Brent Porche also got to see Ayron on the Shiprocked cruise he took this year. His bassist is FROM THE AREA and is so excited to be back.

• Larkin Poe

  Larkin Poe! These gals are amazing. They were recently on the Preston and Steve Show and even performed an unreleased (now released) song. They also promised Jacky Bam Bam a record-shopping-day-out the next time they visited Philly. That better happen!

• Billy Idol

  His newest four-song-EP “The Cage” is stellar. Billy Idol is a legend and we’re so happy to have him. This punk-rocker is sure to take the house down. And you surely won’t be “dancing with yourself,” when he’s playing. Everyone else will be, too!

• Shinedown

  Oh. hey, we know these guys! Hi Shinedown. We love you! They are no stranger to being part of the MMRBQ lineup, and we’re a-okay with that. We play their music like, all the time. Plus, our DJs have really gotten to know the band personally. They’re great people and their music ROCKS!

• Preston & Steve Side Stage: Live Band Karaoke and the Jacky Bam Bam Party Deck

  You’re not gonna want to miss these two features of the day.

  The Preston and Steve Side Stage is back, so warm up those vocal cords for Live Band Karaoke. It’s your time to shine on an MMRBQ stage.
  Plus, the Jacky Bam Bam Party Deck will knock your socks off. Jacky, our resident vampire, will lead the party of a lifetime.
