Meet Philadelphia’s own Frankford Fitler, MMR’s Local Shots Artist of the Month.
Frankford Fitler is a dynamic rock band that emerged from the streets of Philadelphia, consisting of vocalist/guitarist Tyler Cole and drummer Randy Willson. With their energetic performances and undeniable stage presence, they quickly garnered a reputation for their electrifying live shows and powerful recordings. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical influences, including classic rock, folk, and blues, the band creates a sound that is both timeless and fresh.
This fall, the band released their double EP titled “Further Down The Road.” The EP comprises songs from their debut EP “Moving On” and four new tracks. Collaborating with 5-time Grammy-nominated producer Paul Moak, they recorded their music at The Smoakstack in Nashville, Tennessee, resulting in a powerhouse of a recording. You can even buy it in vinyl format, which is so sick.
The band has a few shows coming up, so check out their website for a calendar and more information! See our Local Shots Artist of the Month live. Also, listen out for a track by them every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm in the month of December.
