Meet Philadelphia’s own Three Ton, MMR’s Local Shots Artist of the Month.

Three Ton is a heavy rock trio from Southeastern PA. The band formed in 2021 from previous bands Thunderbrew and Lifer both of which had success in the greater Philadelphia area. They have made a definite splash in this new endeavor.

Three Ton is Daran Amos (guitar, lead vocal), Daniel J. Kwasizur (Drums), and Kirk Wiseman (Bass, vocals).

In Early 2022, they recorded their debut record at Soundmine Studio. Producer Dan Malsch (Avenged Sevenfold, Gojira, Ghost, Fuel, Doro) produced the record. They drew a lot of local attention after selling out their first 2 shows in Kennett Square, PA. The band proved that they are a band to watch.

The band boasts professional musicianship, massive sound, powerful, soulful vocals, and top-notch songwriting combined with an energetic live performance that never fails to impress. They are without a doubt a band to be seen and heard immediately. Their music can be streamed or downloaded on all major platforms or directly from their website.

They released an album in April of 2023 and it is well worth a full listen. All eight tracks embody what the band is all about.

The instrumentation itself is heavy, driving, and full in this track. The lead vocals here are every bit as grungey and heavy as we love to hear.

"Save The Queen" is another example of what Three Ton has to offer. Their music is heavy, driving, and really ROCKS. Daran Amos’s vocals make this song a really fun listen.
