The 6th and final full day at sea on Shiprocked 2023 in here! It was a day packed with great musical acts across all six of the Carnival Magic’s stages.
Shiprocked Day #6 Lineup
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Kicking off the final day of SR’23 on the main stage, Middleburg, Florida’s Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. They wrapped their set with the always popular tune ‘Face Down’.
Lilith Czar
Up next on the main stage was one of the fan-favorites of the whole SR’23 trip, MMRBQ alum, Lilith Czar.
Davey Suicide
Hanging out with Davey Suicide during Lilith Czar. I really enjoyed his performance on the boat – sort of a cross between Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson & Motionless in White.
Lacey Sturm
Lacey Sturm and her band rocked the main stage after Lilith with a little help from Islander’s Mikey Carvajal.
Beer Pong
After some more exploration around the ship, I made my way down to the atrium for some beer pong! Shiprockers tested their pong-ball-tossing skills against actual rockers with Elias from Nonpoint as your master of ceremonies.

Cancer Sucks Auction
Over the course of the whole week, there were tons of rock & roll items (autograph’s, drumheads, albums, artwork etc.) available through a silent auction. There was also a live auction on the last day that boasted tons of super cool, one of a kind, memorabilia like autographed guitars, concert tickets for life, and even a full-band autographed Motorhead album… yup, Lemmy!
One thing is for certain, Shiprockers have BIG hearts and even deeper pockets! Most of the autographed guitars went for over $10k each! Including a Shinedown guitar that went for $10k, a Five Finger Death Punch bass for $12k and a Parkway Drive guitar that went for over $15k! Soooo much money was raised for Cancer Sucks! Love it!
Hyro the Hero & Mixi
Hyro the Hero and Mixi from Stitched Up Heart helped out as auctioneers.

Memphis May Fire
It has been a hot minute since I have had the chance to see Memphis May Fire live, man I missed them! They are on tour with Parkway Drive currently and will be playing a sold out show at Starland Ballroom this weekend.
Bad Omens
Bad Omens wrapped up their final performance of SR’23 with a show in the always cozy, and in this case super-packed Theater. Hence the awesome pic!
Aranda
The Aranda fellas brought massive energy to tiny Lounge club on the Carnival Magic for their final performance of the trip. Including a crazy-great cover of the Foo Fighters ‘The Pretender’ (video coming soon)
Suicidal Tendencies
Suicidal Tendencies! The boat went bananas every time Psycho Mike & the boys hit the stage! And yes, that is Tye Trujillo, son of Metallica’s Robert Trujillo in bass!

Corey Glover
An absolute highlight for me on this trip was anything and everything Corey Glover was a part of! He had a number of memorable appearances on Shiprocked ’23 both solo and as a member of The Stowaways. A guy as nice as he is talented! Thank You Corey
Nova Twins
The Nova Twins from London, UK (not the Main Line) were great! Really enjoyed their sound, and definitely have to check them out again next time they are on the road. In fact, they will be touring in support of MUNA at The Met Philly on Friday May 5th 2023.
DINOSAURS!
You really do see everything and anything on this boat! (video coming soon)
Dropout Kings
Last day hangs with some of my favorites from the boat the Dropout Kings. Their brand-new album ‘Riot Music’ comes out on April 7th!
Falling In Reverse
This was the second and final performance for Ronnie Radke and Falling in Reverse. They played their hit ‘Popular Monster’ TWICE in a row to end their set (??? I was just as confused and curious as to why???)
Andy Wood
One of the most talented dudes on the whole ship – Andy Wood! He and his band were the “house band” for the Stowaways and performed hit after hit flawlessly. I have a crazy good instrumental version they did of Alice in Chain’s ‘Rooster’ that I will be posting soon!
That's A Wrap!
As soon as Falling in Reverse wrapped their set on the last night, the main stage started to be deconstructed.
And by morning, it was gone. Just like that. Big shout to all of the crew members that assisted in making this trip so memorable!
NEXT YEAR!
Now the real question is… WHO’S COMIN’ WITH ME!?
