Grandview Speedway
Grandview Speedway is a one-third-mile (0.53 km) NASCAR-sanctioned oval racetrack located just east of Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, United States. Featuring moderately high banks and a wide racing surface, it is suitable for close racing and passing. The track is owned and operated by BAPS Motor Speedway, Inc.
Grandview Speedway was founded in 1963 by Carl Wessner and opened on May 31 of that year. The track was originally known as Bechtelsville Speedway, but was renamed Grandview Speedway in 1966. Grandview Speedway has hosted a variety of racing divisions over the years, including NASCAR Modifieds, NASCAR Sportsman, Sprint Cars, and Late Models.
Today, Grandview Speedway is home to the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series, which features the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman. The track also hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, including the USAC National Sprint Series Eastern Storm and the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series.
