In a scene from arguably the best sitcom of all-time, 'Cheers', Ernie 'Coach' Pantusso, who was played by the late, great Nicholas Colasanto, finds himself alone with his daughter, Lisa, who was played by Allyce Beasley. Allyce also starred on 'Moonlighting', which is where this particular conversation on our show began.
Anyway, the scene between Coach and his daughter is undeniably beautiful. So much so that I actually have tweeted about it a few times in the past.
And if you've never seen it, take a look and see if it doesn't make you well up, too.
Of course, we have the ability to take sweet and tender moments and reduce them to rubble, because hey, that's what we do! After all, tragedy plus time equals comedy!
