During her guest appearance on Kylie Kelce's "Not Gonna Lie" podcast, Clarkson expressed her delight in discovering that the Eagles' offensive tackle can sing and has a great voice.
“I didn't know he sang,” she said, to which Kelce responded, “The voice of an angel.”
Athlon Sports reported that she discovered Mailata's vocal abilities after she heard him sing the national anthem.
“I heard him sing the anthem better than most singers,” Clarkson said. “I found out literally minutes after I met him.”
That interview caught Mailata's attention. He expressed feeling flattered by Clarkson's high praise.
