The Moyers’ Amazing Wedding of The Century came, saw and conquered!
This past Friday night I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Moyer, the now newlyweds! I know you all missed my YOU CALL IT FRIDAY NIGHT, but what a worthy cause this was to skip out on my show.
Nearly everything I do nowadays Mummers-related incudes the Moyer Family! At the helm of it all is Mummers Hall of Famer, Mr. Scott Moyer! You know the name! He and his family have deep true and blue roots within our Mummers organization and it just so happens that his son Jeff invited me to his wedding. What! Me? I had to apologize because, in typical vampire fashion, I showed up late… but I could see right away the love in that room.
Between The ENTIRE Moyer clan (And I mean all of them, there’s a lot! LOL) and the Cordero familia, this reception was jam packed with nothing but amor, the big L-O-V-E!
How do you top life-sized sparklers, a real live saxophone player and engraved sunglasses? WITH THE UPTOWN STRING BAND, that’s how! Uptown played a number of tunes and absolutely blew everybody away on the dancefloor, umbrellas and all! (Special shout out to Thor and Caitlin Mclaughlin for jumping on the brass in their wedding attire!) I’m still smiling from ear to ear.
To Sharon, Scott and Nikki’s family: God bless, Congratulations… and I can’t wait for the next party!
To the newlyweds, Jeff and Nikki:
I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for inviting me to celebrate such a special day with you and your families. Being part of your wedding was truly an honor, and I feel so blessed to have witnessed the love and joy you both share. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, and the reception was filled with so much warmth and happiness and DANCING! Nikki is a Zumba instructor, so you know the entire wedding party Uptown Funked! It was so clear to see how much love and thought you put into every detail, and it made the day all the more memorable.
I enjoyed spending time with everyone there; So thank you for including me in this milestone moment of your lives. I wish you both nothing but happiness, love, and all the best as you embark on this new chapter together!
PS: I may or may not have stolen a disco ball… HAHA! The Moyers’ Amazing Wedding of The Century! Let's do it again another Friday night!

Surprise Induction Into The Fancy Division Hall of Fame
I have no words, but I will try to gather some. I was inducted into the Fancy Division Hall of Fame this past weekend. It is such an honor to be recognized in this way.
This was a complete and total surprise to me. At Golden Sunrise NYA's annual banquet, they presented me with this honor. I am now in the Mummers Hall of Fame class of 2024.
I am so thankful to be in the little club that could, Golden Sunrise NYA. So much has happened in my life and I have met so many people. My career is so amazing. But, a huge dream of mine, if not the biggest, was to be in the Mummers Hall of Fame. Now, that dream is a reality.
Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who has supported me. Thank you for everyone who has helped with my costumes, my transportation, my music. It takes a village. Everyone that has supported me in every avenue of my life, thank you. Your encouragement means the world to me.
This little Mummer's dream came true, and now I am in the Mummers Fancy Division Hall of Fame, class of 2024. This is so INCREDIBLE!
An Honor

Here I am with my plaques, next to my first-place winner of 2024, Jungle Exotica.
Winner's Circle

I am ecstatic, to say the least. This is absolutely incredible.
Feeling Amazing

Here is a closer pic of the plaque I received. I was left utterly speechless!
The People That Make It Happen

Here I am with Scott Moyer, my backpiece designer, and Angelo Lutz of Kitchen Consigliere.
Mummery ROCKS!

Here I am with Sebastian and his MMR sign. He was first place in the "juvenile" category as the Archer.
