This first of several visits to the MMR studios by Cage The Elephant was on January 17th, 2011. They had just released their sophomore album Thank You, Happy Birthday earlier that same month. The Preston & Steve Show hosted their performance, which included one of their biggest hits and today’s Live From The MMaRchives pick: “Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked”. Pierre also gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a legendary (and hilarious) station ID done by the band.
