George Thorogood – One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer – Live from the MMaRchives Download

Download March 29th, 2018

Both Pierre Robert and Jaxon hosted this MMaRchive Session featuring the ‘Bard of the Barroom’ himself, George Thorogood. He performed at the Mann Music Center later that night with Bryan Adams, on August 2nd, 2007. Ever the storyteller, Thorogood chatters for a bit about Philadelphia before actually launching into this song. When he finally gets around to singing, he alters the lyrics quite a bit, but it always goes back to that trinity of booze: “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer”!

(BONUS: Thorogood played only two songs during this session, and here Pierre explains that he could hardly believe the song that followed ‘One Bourbon’…)
