WMMR Public Affairs – Brad Meltzer – The Escape Artist Download

Download March 8th, 2018

Here is my conversation with Brad Meltzer about his brand new Historical Thriller, The Escape Artist. A fun, fast paced, page turner about the heroine, Nola Brown, who is supposed to be dead. The insanity of how her past is tied into where she is now is wild. The left-turns added another of surprise and at one point had me yell, “NO WAY!!!” out loud while reading. During my interview, Brad explained how he came up with Nola Brown, the storyline, the other characters and why he was so extremely thorough in his research and character development. He also reveals some mind blowingly cool historical information that ties in to the story. Another aspect of this story that really resonates loudly is the idea of what and who heroes are. Today, more than ever, we, as a society as well as our children need heroes. The neutrality and relatability of the heroes are two of the facets that makes these characters so engaging. Keep up with Brad Meltzer on all social media, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and his Website. You can purchase the book at amazon. Thank you for taking the time to listen.
