It was an amazing time seeing Bert Kreischer at the “Big Joint.”
South Philadelphia was bursting at the seams with laughter on Wednesday night. The packed-to-the-rafters Wells Fargo Center welcomed “The Machine” Bert Kreischer and his “Tops Off World Tour”.
The Philly stop of this tour was extra special due to the last-minute addition and performance from legendary hip-hop DJ and Philadelphia native DJ Jazzy Jeff. Kreischer is a HUGE hip-hop fan. His winnings from the 50/50 at the Flyers game the night before were used well. “The Machine” dropped $4k to win. He secured the services of one of hip-hop’s most well-known and admired DJs.
Bert kicked off his set by coming out in the newly released, Princess-Diana-inspired, vintage Philadelphia Eagles jacket, to a huge “Big Joint” roar. He ripped off the coat to reveal the Flyers jersey he had on underneath, and no sooner than that, he then ripped off the Flyers jersey and threw it up in the air to reveal that bare belly of his that we have come to know and love. NOW the show can start!
Kreischer’s set was hilarious as always! He was working on some new material that may be part of his next Netflix special. It is set to record in the next six months or so. He even led the packed house in a rousing rendition of “God Bless America” and “The Star-Spangled Banner”.
If you missed him at the “Big Joint” this week, or have been dying to see Bert live, “The Tops Off World Tour” will be making stops at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on December 8th, 2023, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City on March 16th, 2024, and the Santander Arena in Reading, PA on April 27th, 2024. Tickets are on sale now.
And don’t forget you can relive Bert’s latest appearance on the Preston & Steve show from this past week here.
