Jacky BamBam Celebrating The South Philly Vikings

I spent my Saturday celebrating the South Philly Vikings! The South Philly Vikings finished 1st place in the 2024 Fancy Brigade Finale. They’re now BACK-to-back Fancy Brigade Champions! They are also 16 time champions.

Now, with great accomplishment comes great celebration. They will have a serenade to celebrate first place on Saturday, January 13, 2024. I was there and had a blast despite how darn cold it got!

South Philly Vikings actually honored me with a plaque (pictured above) for my dedication in keeping Mummery alive and well. It was presented to me by a Jeff Travelina, which made the honor even greater.

They got serenaded by the other Fancy Brigades, String Bands, Comics, and Wenches in the event that was FREE and open to the public. It was a true party atmosphere celebrating this great organization.

Thanks to everyone that supports me and my Mummery. It is one of the great joys of my life to be able to strut not just on New Years Day, but all year 'round, in my Mummers best. It's so much more than sequins and strutting. We are all family!

With that, I tip my hat yet again to the South Philly Vikings. Congratulations! I'm already counting down the days to January 1st when we do it all again.
