I was in a String Band Parade down Haddon Ave. this past weekend! It was a serenade to Camden County. I performed and strutted with Uptown String Band right down Haddon Avenue.

The String Band division was in Haddon Heights, NJ on Saturday, October 21st from 2 pm to 4 pm. After the strut down the Ave. bands performed at a variety of locations. It was such a fun event to be part of. It was almost practice for the big day on January 1st!

The crowd that came out was ecstatic and really into it. I always enjoy strutting, but on this day, it felt extra special.

I’d like to thank the Camden County Board of Commissioners, Haddonfield, and Haddon Township for welcoming the Philadelphia Mummers String Band Association. I’d also like to thank the Philadelphia Mummers String Band Association and Uptown String Band. It was a really awesome day.

It was the first annual String Band Parade Down Haddon Ave. They totally rocked it!

Me and the Uptown String Band had a great day of string bands and music, food, games, and other great surprises. Check out my Facebook page for even more great pictures from the parade.
