WMMR’s Jacky Bam Bam wore his prize winning Mummers costume as he dances on field at third base with the Phillies Phanatic between the 5th and 6th innings of the Cincinnati Reds at Philadelphia Phillies baseball game Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Phillies held Mummers Night in celebration of the group and their New Years Parade tradition. Thirty percent of Phillies ticket sales went to the Mummers clubs, who now fund the annual parade themselves after the city of Philadelphia stopped offering prize money a number of years ago.
