Jerry Cantrell and his band rocked the Xcite Center at Parx Casino part of an ‘MMR concert event. Cantrell spent his 57th birthday with us in Bensalem while touring in support of his most recent solo album, 2021’s ‘Brighten’. It was a great mix of songs spanning his entire career, including tracks off solo album’s ‘Boggy Depot’, ‘Degradation Trip’ & ‘Brighten’, with plenty of your favorite Alice in Chains songs mixed in. The sold-out crowd at Parx serenaded Cantrell with a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday, to celebrate his special day! Shout out to the Seattle-based band Thunderpussy for opening the show with a killer set!
