I got to see the Marshall Tucker Band with The Outlaws at the Keswick on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

It was an amazing night with 2 great tried and true Southern Institutions.

The Marshall Tucker Band are celebrating their 51st year! They perfomred with The Outlaws at The Keswick. I’m still smiling after attending this show.

It’s been a minute since I caught up with MTB’s Doug Gray. My evening was complete when I saw his big ‘ol smile and got a hug from him. I also caught up with The Outlaws’ Henry Paul. We spoke about all the great shows they gave us at The Spectrum, and The Outlaws filming a live concert at our Tower Theatre.

We all flashed back to CDB Volunteer Jams, talked about Skynyrd, and playing JFK Stadium for The Roundup. Doug told me he has a framed photo of the band mooning the audience. Good times.

It was so fun hearing their catalog of songs, “Heard It In a Love Song,” “Can’t You See,” “Take The Highway,” “Rambling along with Ghost Riders,” “Green Grass and High Tides,” “There Goes Another Love Song,” and “Hurry Sundown.” When u hear songs like this you know it can’t be wrong.

Thanks so much for a great night of amazing music!
