Jacky BamBam made a guest appearance at Dockside Bensalem on stage with the amazingly amazing band Beg, Borrow and Steel on Sunday, August 21.
I had a really good time at Dockside Bensalem. I got to rock out on stage with a really stellar band called Beg, Borrow and Steel. They are a band that plays steel drums and gave me all the island feels. They are a group of really talented musicians who welcomed me on stage with open arms. Even with my antics, they sounded absolutely perfect.
The band features my good friend John MaGarvey. He does all of the Mummers airbrush work, as well as props. I wanted to stop in and show my support to an awesome friend. He even wore a BamBam shirt!
I made sure to wear my Mummer hat from The Woodland String Band. Everyone enjoyed the music so much. I know I sure did. You can see I was hyper because I was hopped up on sugar from all the Rita’s Water Ice I ate earlier in the day.
I did my best Jagger with the band. That really gets the crowd going. Yes, I danced like Jagger to steel drum music! I’m telling you, these guys really rocked my socks off.
