MMRBQ is on September 16 at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion and there are some songs we want to hear from Finger Eleven.
One of Canada’s best-selling bands, Finger Eleven, built a long-lasting legacy with their genre-defying sound. The band began playing together in high school. In 1995, the Burlington, Ontario five-piece released their debut, Letters from Chutney, under the moniker “Rainbow Butt Monkeys.” That was before recording their first LP as Finger Eleven.
Their fourth album, Them vs. You vs. Me released in 2007. It was their most successful release to date. The funk-forward single “Paralyzer” spent 52 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, which is a unique feat for a rock band.
More recently, the band has released the Finger Eleven Greatest Hits album! The 12-track set pulls their singles together for the first time. It also features some new bonus songs including the BRAND NEW single “Together Right.” The album is out on CD, digital, and vinyl NOW.
Clearly, we would love to hear some tracks from their new release at MMRBQ! They’ve been rocking for over 25 years, so we have a LOT we’d love to hear. We narrowed it down for the purpose of this list, but know it was hard to pick. It would be an absolute honor to hear these songs live at OUR event!
