Preston & Steve’s Camp Out For Hunger 2023 Totals:
Over 1.7 MILLION pounds of food.
1,757,021lbs to be exact. That's over 878 TONS of food.
Monetary: $1,158,732.
The pound totals includes 10 tractor trailers that were filled with food from donors on site between Monday at 6am and Friday at 11am. Plus the 177,731 pounds that were collected during the Phila-a-Trunk kickoff car show on Sunday.
Monetary totals include hundreds pf donations made by individuals on site and the donation page at wmmr.com and over $710,000 donated by individuals at ACME Markets through the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Largest donation by a business / group / organization:
- 1st place: A Live Broadcast from Preston & Steve: Subaru of America – 672,704
- 2nd place: Pierre Broadcast: Comcast – 293,013
- 3rd: $20,000 Q1 Ad Schedule on MMR: Campbell’s Chunky Soup – 100,808
- New this year, Random Drawing Prize from among all Business Challenge participants: an in-studio visit to see the Preston & Steve Show live: CJ Watson Electric – 1,827 pounds.
- The Camp Out For Hunger Games generated an additional 10,000 pounds of food from Bimbo Bakeries USA… that’s on top of their $10,000 donation.
