I have been going to live shows and events for over 25 years! Long before my time at WMMR and in radio in general. Over the years, I have amassed quite a few concert tee shirts (to say the least!) The bands I have the most tee shirts of are (in no particular order) Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, The Rolling Stones and yes, as you may have guessed, Shinedown.
I have accumulated a bunch of really great tees over the years… and yes hoodies too! We’ll save the Shinedown hoodies for the next post. Whether it’s at the merch stand or in the parking lot, grabbing a concert/event shirt or any kind of merch, helps bring back fond memories from a particular night, with a particular favorite band or artist, spent with some friends or loved ones.
With my hundreds of tees and hoodies, I have a ton of amazing memories from all of the great shows I have seen over the past two and a half decades. With many more to come!

Shinedown - Leave A Whisper Tour
This shirt came with the original pressing of Shinedown’s debut album ‘Leave A Whisper’ on vinyl. On the back are all of the tour dates from the entire Leave a Whisper tour.
Shinedown - Us and Them Tour
This tee came with the original pressing of Shinedown’s sophomore album ‘Us and Them’ on vinyl. Same as the LaW tour shirt, all of the Us and Them tour dates are on the back from the entire album cycle

This album and tour really broke Shinedown through to the mainstream – and still their best-selling LP to date.

Shinedown - Carnival of Madness 2010
This tee was from the first ever Carnival of Madness tour that came through Philly, playing the Festival Pier, in the summer of 2010. Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, Sevendust & 10Years were all on the bill that year.

Carnival of Madness 2013 was held at the Mann Music Center in Fairmount Park. Excellent line-up featuring Shinedown, In This Moment, Sevendust, Skillet & We As Human.

This was the tour that never happened due to the pandemic. I was scheduled to travel to Dallas, Tx to see Shinedown perform, but ultimately it was cancelled. Hopefully they will do it again down the line.
