Legendary Philadelphia rockers The Hooters made their triumphant return to the Ardmore Music Hall Friday night, kicking off 3 very much sold out ‘MMR concert events. The Friday fans were among the first to hear The Hooters perform songs off their brand-new album ‘Rocking & Swing’ which also came out on Friday via their very own Hooters Music label. It was a beautiful evening on Lancaster Ave. topped off with a jovial vibe inside ‘AMH’ as The Hooters masterfully jammed for close to 3 hours giving us their smash hits, quite a few deep cuts, a hearty dose of new songs off ‘Rocking & Swing’ and even some covers. The full setlist is below.
The Hooters will be heading out on the road for their first full US tour in close to 30 years this summer beginning August 4th. Rick Springfield, Tommy Tutone & others will also be out with them part of the “I Want My 80’s” summer tour. First, The Hooters head overseas for their close to 2-month tour of Germany & Sweden beginning in June.
