Our hearts are shattered at the loss of Taylor Hawkins, a core member of the Foo Fighters family – and by extension, the WMMR family. His hard-hitting drum style and deep appreciation for rock n’ roll propelled the band to the biggest stages in the world, and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just last year. In Philadelphia he played just about every venue with the Foos, from the Tower to the Pavilion, and we also got to see his side projects like The Coattail Riders and Chevy Metal at festivals over the years. We’ll feature plenty of his music in the coming days, and we’ll add more tributes and photos here as they roll in. Rest easy, Taylor.
