Mastodon Have a “Ton of Riffs” Ready For Next Album Download

MASTODON is coming to Philly this Thursday May 5th for a special show at the Electric Factory! It’s their only U.S. date for the foreseeable future, and drummer Brann Dailor tells Sara that there’ll be an exclusive Mastodon beer at the show as part of the Craft Brewers Conference happening in the city this week.

Brann also gave us an update on the band’s next record (tons of riffs at the ready!), recapped his residency on Late Night With Seth Meyers, and explained his clown-themed room and extensive velvet painting collection. He also discussed their friends The Dillinger Escape Plan (who are opening Thursday’s show), balancing fan expectations with developing as musicians, listening to everything from Slayer to Stevie Wonder, and a lot more….
