Watch The Crazy Video Of Brent’s Birthday Glitter Bomb Surprise
After a stellar week off celebrating my birthday all over the tri-state area, I returned to work on Monday with a couple of surprises in my mailbox. The first present is a super cool Philadelphia Flyers, Gritty inspired, Grateful Dead tee shirt. Thanks to ‘MMR listener Bob Parker for the thoughtful gesture!
As it turns out, I was supposed to go to the Flyers game on Grateful Dead night, and the initial night of the event was postponed due to the Phillies being in the World Series. The Philadelphia Flyers organization has some great themed nights over the years, including this year’s Grateful Dead night & Pearl Jam night. Both nights they gave away cool tees like these!
Bob was kind enough to send me one of the Grateful Dead night shirts. I plan on wearing to the Final Dead & Co. show at Pierre’s Good Citizens Park on Thursday. Tickets are still available if you’d like to join Pierre and I as we twirl in South Philadelphia one more time!
My second “gift” was delivered in a plastic shipping envelope with a small looking cardboard tube in it. The package seemed suspect from the get-go. After giving it a few shakes, I handed the cardboard tube over to my friend, the great Preston & Steve Producer & MMaRmy Master Sergeant, Connor Betts, to do the honors. He gladly accepted.
I captured the whole thing on video for your viewing pleasure below. Thank You(???) to whomever sent me the very thoughtful(??) and sparkly gift. I had to explain and apologize to Rodney & our wonderful cleaning staff as to why there was glitter all over out green room carpet. Love you crazy effers, mean it! -bp
