Ink Masters to Unite for Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Festival, Jan. 24-26
From body art to live sideshows, the 27th annual Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Festival at the Pennsylvania Convention Center promises to deliver plenty of visual artistry and entertainment. The three-day event, held from Jan. 24-26, brings together celebrated ink masters and sideshow performers.
This year’s festival will feature opportunities to peruse the work of and get inked by hundreds of tattoo artists who have diverse styles, from blackwork and color realism to modern and traditional.

Convention organizer Villian Arts told PhillyVoice that the expo’s sideshow entertainment promises to be “jaw-dropping,” with suspension acts, contortion, sword-swallowing, and burlesque performances.
According to the festival’s website, special guests at this year’s event will include cult film director Lloyd Kaufman and several former contestants from the reality show “Ink Master.” Additional personalities making appearances include suspension artist Cruella Morgan, “America’s Got Talent” entertainers Captain & Maybelle, and Ringling Brothers juggler James Maltman.
Vendors will also offer jewelry, clothing, artwork, and other memorabilia for sale.
What to Know Before You Go
Tickets for single-day admission to the festival are $25 and $50 for a three-day admission pass.
Local bar Tattooed Mom, 530 South St., will hold after-party events for the festival on Friday, Jan. 24, and Saturday, Jan. 25. A Late Happy Hour is scheduled from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. both nights.
The Pennsylvania Convention Center is at 1101 Arch St., Philadelphia.
