On May 9th, 2006 Cheap Trick did a set at Grape Street, which included this stripped down version of “I Want You (To Want Me)”. Listen closely for the whispers of “WMMR” that Rick Nielsen drops into the song… A month later they released their 15th studio LP Rockford (a reference to their hometown in Illinois) and this album was hailed as a return to form by the band.
