I visited my Papa BamBam’s garage. He's got a TON of record label promotional merch all over the walls in there. It’s like a Rock and Roll shrine.
He’s got vintage posters ranging from Frank Sinatra and The Rat Pack, to The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, ROD STEWART and Madonna, Judas Priest, and the list goes on and on….
It's a tradition that almost every teenager carries on. You wanted to show your love for your favorite bands and celebrities. You would go out, find posters, and stick them up to show the world how cool you are. It's like we each made our own rock poster wallpaper. Mom's decor no more!
People put up posters because they want the place to feel complete. Nobody likes a place with blank white walls or a place that feels empty. What you put up talks about you and your likes and dislikes.
Did you do this? Do you still do this? Did you keep any of your old posters? My Papa BamBam sure as heck kept his. And up on the walls, too!

Cool Collage
Photo by Brittany RotondoDid anyone else make collages? It was so fun cutting out pictures of my favorites from magazines and pasting them all together. This collage surely ROCKS.
Getting A Closer Look
Photo by Brittany RotondoI was on a ladder checking out all the cool things on the ceiling. You can see me hanging out with Olivia Newton-John here.
The Rod Stewart
