Today, I'm thinking about back in the day when you would cover your walls with posters. You'd hang them in your bedroom on the wall or in the garage…all over!

I visited my Papa BamBam’s garage. He's got a TON of record label promotional merch all over the walls in there. It’s like a Rock and Roll shrine.

He’s got vintage posters ranging from Frank Sinatra and The Rat Pack, to The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, ROD STEWART and Madonna, Judas Priest, and the list goes on and on….

It's a tradition that almost every teenager carries on. You wanted to show your love for your favorite bands and celebrities. You would go out, find posters, and stick them up to show the world how cool you are. It's like we each made our own rock poster wallpaper. Mom's decor no more!

People put up posters because they want the place to feel complete. Nobody likes a place with blank white walls or a place that feels empty. What you put up talks about you and your likes and dislikes.

Did you do this? Do you still do this? Did you keep any of your old posters? My Papa BamBam sure as heck kept his. And up on the walls, too!

Putting The Work In

Here’s me in my Papa BamBam’s garage with a TON of record label’s promo merch. It’s like a small Rock and Roll shrine in there!

Wall Treasures

Look at this vintage BamBam pic. If you look closer you'll see the Rat Pack and old news clippings. Also, do you see Dion hidden in there?

The Ceiling Or The Wall?

This picture sure is trippy. Which direction are we facing? See who you can spot in this one. I spy Madonna!

Some Throwback WMMR Stuff

I love seeing WMMR stickers everywhere. Look at the Jacky BamBam picture inspired by Looney Tunes.

All The Classics

My faves are all here. Rolling Stones, Whitesnake, Cinderella...all the greats! And of course THE KING is up there too.

Bob Seger

Bob Seger And The Silver Bullet Band's Stranger In Town is also up on the wall. Released in 1978, this is a total throwback.

Sinatra And Mummers

Also two of my favorite things. I can spot some Barry Manilow and an old WMMR poster up there too. Can you see Stevie Nicks with her big hair?

Cool Collage

Did anyone else make collages? It was so fun cutting out pictures of my favorites from magazines and pasting them all together. This collage surely ROCKS.

Getting A Closer Look

I was on a ladder checking out all the cool things on the ceiling. You can see me hanging out with Olivia Newton-John here.

The Rod Stewart

...and many many more. We got Pat Benatar, Ozzy, Bruce Springsteen, and Fleetwood Mac. Is one of your faves up here?

The Boss Collage

At the top of this picture, you can see tons of photos of Bruce Springsteen. There's also Mick Jagger's 'She's The Boss' up there.
