Farewell to the summer of 2023. It’s been a season of new movies, birthdays, and tons of fun events. What a stellar three months.
I took to celebrating the final days of summer last week. I went to Avalon and Wildwood, enjoying every minute as I went. It may have been the beginning of September, but it sure felt like summer. That heat wave kept us on the beach, and more importantly, in the water!
Another big highlight for me was hanging out my with sister Donna and her husband Clive. Some family time is always good when you’re resting and relaxing on vacation.
One night, we went to a restaurant in Wildwood called Little Italy. It was surely a delicious meal from a really authentic Italian spot. It was established in 1996 in Wildwood Crest. Since then, Little Italy has become a local favorite as well as a must-go destination for summertime vacationers from all over.
While it is very hard to say goodbye to the sunshine and warmth of summer days, and the cool breezes of summer nights, off to autumn we must go! For vampires like me, that is no problem. We discard swimsuits for sweaters and popsicles for pumpkin picking. That’s fine by me! Halloween is just under 50 days away, so I gotta go plan my costume.
But for now, I say farewell to the summer of 2023.
