What does the Liberty Bell, the Mummers parade & Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic have in common? All of the aforementioned are legendary in their own right and ONLY found right here in the Philadelphia area! The ‘Classic’ is back, bigger and better than ever and part of this year’s Mountainfest 2023 at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pa! The craziness will commence this Friday, March 3rd, right after the Preston & Steve show wraps up on the air. Massive shout-out and props to all of our “builders” & “visionaries” that participate in the ‘Classic’, to see your creations and hard work come to life in such style and size, is really something to witness in person! And you can… for free! Spectators are FREE to attend the Cardboard Classic once again this year! Thousands of dollars in cash and prizes will be awarded to the winners and of course, a super cool trophy to take home, courtesy of Acme Corrugated Box Co!
Following Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic, Pierre Robert & I will be broadcasting our shows live from Montage Mountain! Ski, snowboard & tube the day away, then catch Art Alexakis and the fellas from Everclear rock the main stage around 5pm on Friday followed by Lit at 2:30pm & Fuel at 5pm on Saturday. Looks like some snow is possibly in the forecast for Scranton this Friday, make sure you plan accordingly! Who remembers the blizzard conditions from the ‘Classic’ a few years ago?
