The 2023 Preston & Steve Campout for Hunger has been nothing short of incredible this year! Preston & Steve’s Campout for Hunger Day #4 was amazing!
We are hitting the home stretch of this year’s event, but we are far from done. Hunger and food insecurity is a very real thing, and our friends at Philabundance help feed over 140,000 families in this area every week. Your donations to Campout for Hunger, no matter the size, are crucial and critical in making sure that no one goes hungry.
Day #4 was a ton of fun, as we continued our week-long live broadcast inside the Bimbo Bakeries USA Broadcast tent inside the Wells Fargo Center Complex collecting nonperishable food for Philabundance.
WWE & ECW Legend The Blue Meanie stopped by to say hi and make a donation, as did Candlebox & Octane guitarist Brian Quinn. ‘Good Day Philadelphia’ co-hosts Mike Jerrick & Alex Holley stopped by for their annual visit to Campout as well. Our great friends Steve & Kelly Wilson from Secret Sauce BBQ in Upper Darby presented us and Campout with a check for $4000.00, with every penny going to Philabundance!
Even though Preston & Steve’s Campout for Hunger is reaching the finish line for the year, you can still donate at your local Acme market at the checkout register through Wednesday, November 22, 2023. You can also still donate at wmmr.com/campout – there is a Donor Match Challenge for online donations, with every penny going to Philabundance to help our neighbors in need.
