Philadelphia native Bob Saget credits his start in comedy to WMMR. If you didn't know that, then you probably never heard an interview with Bob on The Preston & Steve Show.
In the early 1980's, the Abington teenager won $500 at a contest hosted by WMMR. He sung a song about bondage.
Bob loved to share that story every time he was on The Preston & Steve Show. He mentioned it during interviews with other local publications as well. Bob loved everything about Philadelphia. And Philly loved him back.
