We’re excited to have MMRBQ Featured Artist: Finger Eleven take the stage! Their sound will truly take you to new heights.
One of Canada’s best-selling bands, Finger Eleven, built a long-lasting legacy with their genre-defying sound. The band began playing together in high school. In 1995, the Burlington, Ontario five-piece released their debut, Letters from Chutney, under the moniker “Rainbow Butt Monkeys,” before recording their first LP as Finger Eleven.
Non-stop touring with bands like Creed and Fuel, as well as a spot on the Vans Warped Tour helped the band make it big. 2003’s Finger Eleven marked a new era for the band. The album found the band exploring a variety of new styles, including dance-rock and introspective, acoustic-driven balladry (like on “One Thing”).
Their fourth album, Them vs. You vs. Me released in 2007. It was their most successful release to date. The funk-forward single “Paralyzer” spent 52 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, which is a unique feat for a rock band.
More recently, the band has announced a new release. The Finger Eleven “Greatest Hits” album! The 12-track set pulls their singles together for the first time It also features some new bonus songs including the BRAND NEW single “Together Right,” available to stream/download right now. The album comes out on CD and digital June 16, and will be released on vinyl on August 25.
