“When Dizzy Dean calls… you get ready to play!” Today, our TBT is for “Dizzy” Dean Davidson from Britny Fox and Blackeyed Susan.
"Dizzy" Dean Davidson is a singer, guitarist, and drummer from Philadelphia. I love him so much! He was a founding member, lead vocalist, and rhythm guitarist of the glam metal band BRITNY FOX from 1985 to 1990. The band name, Britny Fox was named after the Welsh coat of arms of one of Davidson's 18th century ancestors.
After leaving Britny Fox, Davidson formed the band Blackeyed Susan. The band disbanded in 1992.
In 2010, Davidson attempted to reunite Britny Fox but did not get past the talking stage. Well, Dean, when I was at the Guitar Center in Cherry Hill I was looking at the drum kits and I got an idea...
