A Look Inside Manayunk’s Premiere Haunted House
Halloween season is well underway, and you’re looking to get the pants scared off of you. After a wholesome day of perusing Kathy’s Fall Activities, you can head to a more sinister spot in Philadelphia for the ultimate scare. If you’re in the Manayunk area, Lincoln Mill Haunted House is back and ready to welcome you into its chambers.
Lincoln Mill made its debut last year, and it has returned for its second season of scares. Located at the old Mad River in Manayunk, the immersive experience features over 50 live scare actors, plus animatronics and special effects. They tell the story of the evil that was uncovered in the building after Hurricane Ida struck the Mill in 2021, and the aftermath of the storm revealed the heinous crimes that took place there once upon a time.

After exploring the dark underbelly of the haunted mill, you can hang out in the midway to partake in food and drink offerings, photos opps, and views overlooking the Schuylkill River.
Want to experience the history without the scares? Lincoln Mill offers a behind the scenes “lights on” tour and scavenger hunt on select Saturdays and Sundays in October from noon to 4pm. It’s a family-friendly version of the haunted house, minus the scare actors.
Lincoln Mill Haunted House is open on weekends now through November 4th. The hours are Thursdays 7:00pm to 10:00pm, Fridays and Saturdays 6:00pm to 11:00pm, and select Sundays 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Get more info at LincolnMillHaunt.com.
