Lzzy Hale Receives Massive Praise from Iconic Frontman for Skid Row Shows
Lzzy Hale and the four shows she fronted Skid Row are officially in the rearview, but they have clearly left an impact.
One person who was clearly moved by Hale’s performances was Jon Bon Jovi. In a new sitdown with Rock Sound, JBJ took part in the outlet’s feature called “Rock Star Questions,” where musicians ask other musicians questions. Hale was one of the musicians that posed a question to Bon Jovi, who lit up right away upon hearing her name.
“She should please join Skid Row. Please, Lzzy Hale, join Skid Row,” said Bon Jovi, in a sing-song way. “Put the two bands together, if you need to.”
He then added, with a laugh, “This is the best thing that happened to Snake [Sabo] since he met me.”
Hale caught wind of Bon Jovi’s glowing words and shared the clip on Instagram. She said in response, “What a compliment, what an honor.”
What’s New with Lzzy Hale and Halestorm?
The four shows with Skid Row will act as a warmup for Lzzy Hale, because Halestorm has quite the summer ahead of them. Beginning on July 9, the band is hitting the road with I Prevail on a co-headlining tour in North America.
Hale said in a statement, “This isn’t your typical summer tour. This is two worlds colliding under one haven for our collective armies and bringing you a show unlike any we’ve done before!”
Meanwhile, I Prevail singer Eric Vanlerberghe said, “Touring with Halestorm is long overdue, as we admire their talent, energy, and dedication to rock music and are thrilled to finally see it happen. This is going to be one of the best tours of the summer and one of the best we’ve ever done.”
