A Fun Night Out at Citizens Bank Park: Top 5 Spots for Snacks, Drinks, & Shopping
On August 16th, I found myself at Citizens Bank Park, not exactly as the biggest baseball fan, but rather as a supportive friend and partner. My best friend and I had purchased Phillies tickets as birthday gifts for our significant others, so it seemed like the perfect excuse for a fun night out!
Despite my rock girl heart and devotion to the stage rather than the diamond, I embraced the evening fully, proudly sporting my signed Alice Cooper jersey, pictured below. It was a blast, even if I wasn’t entirely familiar with every play.
For fellow non-baseball enthusiasts, here’s a guide to the top five places at Citizens Bank Park where you can find great snacks, drinks, and shopping without having to follow every swing and pitch.

If you’re more into gourmet burgers and fries than fastballs, Shake Shack is your go-to. Located in several spots around the park, Shake Shack serves up its famous ShackBurger, crinkle-cut fries, and delicious milkshakes. It’s a popular spot, so be prepared for a bit of a line, but trust me, it’s worth it for a tasty break from the action.

2. Tony Luke’s:
For those who appreciate a hearty, satisfying snack, Tony Luke’s offers some of the best Philly cheesesteaks in the park. This iconic Philadelphia spot delivers classic cheesesteaks, as well as roast pork sandwiches and Italian hoagies. It’s a great way to dive into local flavor without having to keep up with the game’s latest plays.

3. The Chickie’s & Pete’s Crabfries Stand
Chickie’s & Pete’s is a well-loved Philly institution, and their Crabfries are a Philadelphia staple. These seasoned fries, served with a side of cheese sauce, are a fan favorite. Even if you’re not a baseball aficionado, grabbing a cone of these crispy treats will make you feel like a true local. In full transparency, I ate 2 buckets of these during this game and I feel zero regrets. 🙂

4. Miller Lite Hall of Fame Club
If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy some good food and drinks, the Miller Lite Hall of Fame Club is a great option. It offers a variety of upscale food options and a selection of craft beers. It’s a bit more relaxed and gives you a chance to enjoy the atmosphere of the park without the constant buzz of the crowd.

5. The Phillies Dugout Store
Even if you’re not a die-hard fan, the Phillies Dugout Store is worth a visit. It offers a wide range of merchandise, from team jerseys to souvenirs and collectibles. It’s a great place to pick up a keepsake from the game, whether it’s for yourself or as a gift for someone else. Plus, it’s always fun to browse through the memorabilia and see what’s new.
