Live Music, 50/50, Chinese Auction. Special appearance by the Philadelphia Police and Fire Pipes and Drums with the Camden County Emerald Society pipes and Drums. Proceeds help to purchase Burn Buddies.
If you cant attend but would like to donate to help this cause, Eventbrite has a donation slot for this event. “Burn Buddy Dolls are sent to all of the Burn Centers to give comfort to the children who are admitted to treatment. Their happy faces not only bring joy to their new friends, but they also help in the healing process. Each Buddy comes dressed in a hospital gown not unlike the patient. They also have a set of bandages that the children can use to simulate the children are getting from the doctors and nurses. This little bit of empathy goes a long way towards helping the children understand the treatment they are getting.”
