Description:
Michael and Darlene Connolly have been members of the Franklinville community for over 30 years. Mike is a hard working father of 9 children and 9 grandchildren. He would work 12 to 16 hour days 7 days a week just to make it through. Recently his health began to decline and he has not been able to work and provide for his family. After not feeling well for awhile he ended up in the hospital where they discovered he had Lung Cancer and during treatments also found Brain Cancer. While undergoing treatments, being unable to work the bills began piling up and they recently lost their home. He is fighting everyday to beat this and we would like to be able to help them out by supporting them as much as possible. We are holding a benefit for Mike and Darlene where all the proceeds will go directly to them. There will be food, beer, music and a basket auction.
