Letter from the parents of Robby:
Since July of 2019, the Marino’s son, baby Robby has been at Numour’s Alfred I Dupont Pediatric Hospital suffering from a rare genetic mutation. As a result of his condition, Robby has undergone several surgeries to provide him with supportive devices to assist his growth and development. Through all of this, Robby’s family has relied on their faith, friends and community while the family juggles raising their two-year-old daughter; working; and supporting their son in a distant hospital. Robby’s condition will necessitate supportive equipment, home-nurse-care, and other needs that are associated with raising a medically complex child. As family and friends of Robert and Shana Marino, we write to ask you to support the Marino family in the form of a donation. Your donation will help raise money at a charity event located at The Knights of Columbus on February 15, 2019. All proceeds of this event are intended to offset any immediate or future costs associated with Robby’s care. We do not request a specific monetary amount from our donors—your monetary donation will be transformed into raffle baskets. Any amount of support is appreciated.
