The Hooters Crash Pierre’s Show to Announce New Philly Tour Dates

The Preston & Steve Show + Pierre Robert crossover has has more than a few infamous moments over the years. It's the time between shifts where the morning show hands the reigns over to the legendary afternoon host to continue the day. Most radio stations don't have two DJs on at the same time, you hear one voice one hour, then a completely different person the next hour. That's what makes 93.3 WMMR so special. We've seen coffee spills, rants about the Pina Colada song, karaoke sessions, prayer sessions, and the iconic Baba-too-da-ba-too-ba-ba-buh-doo-ga-ga-bop-a-dop moment. But today, we had an experience unlike any other. Rob Hyman, David Uosikkinen and Eric Bazilian connected via Zoom to make a big announcement. With beers in hand, the three members of The Hooters greeted the WMMR gang with a jolly "prost!" It was just about happy hour in Balingen, Germany where they were calling from. The fellas were enjoying their first day off after kicking off the European leg of the Rocking & Swing Tour in support of their new album of the same name. The Hooters released Rocking & Swing, their first new studio recording since 2010, in May.  The new new single, "Why Won't You Call Me Back" debuted on MMR as was followed by three sold out intimate shows at the Ardmore Music Hall.
