24-Hour Game Show Marathon

Game Show Mayhem, 10 Years In The Making

24 hours. 24 different game shows. All to raise money for Child’s Play Charity.

The 24-Hour Game Show Marathon is a love letter to game shows. Inspired by the BBC’s Comic Relief effort 24-Hour Panel People, the first 24-Hour Game Show Marathon was held on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University to raise money for the American Cancer Society in 2012. In future iterations, the Marathon has raised money for ACS, the Kennedy Krieger Institute, and our current benefactor, Child’s Play. In total, we’ve raised almost $60,000 for charity.

The 24-Hour Game Show Marathon is run by four friends and game show fanatics. Cory Anotado is a creative director originally from Philadelphia, PA. Christian Carrion is a hotel manager and podcaster from Lancaster, PA. Bob Hagh is a content creator and project manager from Cary, NC. Rich Liebig is an events coordinator and local media personality from Norristown, PA. Between the four of them, they’ve appeared on more than 10 different game shows and have won more than $75,000 in cash and prizes. Collectively, they’re using their talents to create 24 hours of wacky, weird, exciting, fun game show simulations. They’re supported by dozens of friends, family and game show fanatics who all come together to play games and raise cash for charity. Game show industry veterans and entertainment icons have assisted, supported and appeared on or in support of the Game Show Marathon, including Todd Newton (Hollywood Showdown, Whammy), Mark L. Walberg (Shop ‘Til You Drop, Temptation Island), The Kid Mero (Desus & Mero).
