A Mother’s Wish Foundation 5K Run / Walk

It’s a day of special guests, giveaways, raffles, entertainment, refreshments and so much more fun for everyone! This 5K fundraising event is sponsored by A Mother’s Wish Foundation. An organization that for over 10 years has raised funds and awareness for those suffering with inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

The 2nd annual 5K run and 1 mile walk will happen on October 1st. Registration begins at 8:15am. It’s being held at Heebner Park in Worcester, PA.

The totals are in! Thanks to all of the donors who came to each location, the Red Cross collected 959 units of blood.

We here at WMMR have lots of people to thank: All of the American Red Cross staff & volunteers. Live Casino and Hotel Philadelphia and The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks for hosting us. Recovery Centers of America, Window Nation for providing the reusable totes, and Everfresh Juice and Juice Drinks.

Summertime is a much needed time for these donations, so our final thank you is to all of you for saving a life!
