Get ready for the BEST 2 days of Winter at Montage Mountain, featuring Preston & Steve’s Cardboard Classic and Mountainfest 2025 featuring Better Than Ezra and Tonic.
The cardboard craziness happens in February for the first time in the event’s 19 years: Friday, February 28th.
NEW this year: Following the cardboard chaos stick around as we crank up the volume with The World’s Largest 80’s Party featuring M80’s, a tribute to MTV playing all the radical hits you know and love! It’ll be an afternoon of big hair, bigger vibes, and nonstop fun on the snow.

Mountainfest promises to be another stellar day at Montage: Saturday, March 1st kicks off with the fan favorite pond skimming competition, then, making their way to the Mountainfest stage and headliners of this year’s fest… multi-platinum alt-rock icons, Better Than Ezra! With special guests opening the show, Tonic. We’re ready for the biggest and best Mountainfest yet and can’t wait to see you all there.

On Friday Feb 28: Cardboard Classic kicks off at 10am, Immediately Following Cardboard Classic (around 1pm): The World’s Largest 80’s Party featuring M80’s, a tribute to MTV (Free to attend both this year). Watch the Classic, stick around for the concert!
On Saturday March 1: DJ kicks off the day at 11am outside the lodge, Pond Skimming event at noon. Tonic on Mountainfest Main Stage at 2:30pm, Better Than Ezra headlining at 5pm. Fireworks Display immediately following Better Than Ezra’s set, around 6:40p.
Ticket Info:
– VIP Packages – VIP is the ONLY 2-Day Pass Option. Includes skiing, drink tickets, t-shirt, swag, laminate, VIP access areas, front stage reserved viewing area and more. $249 for VIP, awesome value!
– GA Concert-Only Tickets – $42 general on sale period, door price increase to $50! Grab a GA Ticket if you just want to attend any of the concerts on Saturday.
– Lift Tickets – Any lift ticket (ski, snowboard, snowtubing) purchased for either day are valid entry to the concert on the day of your visit.
– Montage Mountain Season Pass – Any winter Montage Mountain Season Passholder can enter the event free with their Season Pass.
